Sweet Nothings: an intimate history of cake decorating
A two-week long interactive project at the Pump House Gallery, London (24 August to 4 September 2005). Visitors were invited to think of a specific occasion for a cake and make it. 120 cakes were assembled in a final display which mapped out the social history of the craft.

Sensory Clinic
A show curated by Cecilia Andersson exploring the social construction of the senses at International 3 in Manchester. Magic lantern and Pygmy music courtesy of Art Orienté Object, scented smoke machine by Décosterd & Rahm, sculpture with therapeutic components by Framersmanual & Neal White, plus a knitting performance by myself. The show is on from 9 to 29 April.
Métissages
A large site-specific knitted installation and other pieces to be exhibited at MIAT in Gent, part of their third biennale of new media and textile art. The show includes works by Ghada Amer, Louise Bourgeois, Berlinde De Bruyckere, Wim Delvoye, Tracey Emin and Jan Fabre amongst others. 25 March to 16 May 2005.
Knit 2 together: Concepts in Knitting
A knitted ceiling and two new table pieces to be exhibited in this exhibition, and featuring work of Freddie Robins, Rachel Matthews, and the guerrilla knitting of the Cast Off knitting club. The show is on from 24 February to 8 May 2005 at the Craft Council, London.
Cake at Tate
As part of the British Art Week at Tate Britain, hands on activities such as cake decorating will be on offer. Celebrity cakes, including my own latest baked creations, will be sold at the gallery’s restaurant and coffee shops. So guess what I’ll be doing on Sunday 25th. The picture might give you a clue.
Willkommen all
A new light projection piece to be installed for Willkommen, a group show curated by Luke Oxley for the Metropole Galleries, Folkestone. The show features works by Michael Landy, Bob and Roberta Smith, Mark Titchner and Jo Mitchell amongst others. The exhibition opens on September 11th and continues until October 2nd, coinciding with the Folkestone Literary festival.
Going Dutch
A forthcoming solo show at MKgalerie.nl, June 10 - July 4, will feature a new sound piece and light installation. A recent series of photographs will also be exhibited.

Knitting Performance
A knitting performance is planned at the Palais de Tokyo on July 3rd. Knitted and crochet pieces will be exhibited at Art Forum Berlin this coming September and the Cologne Art Fair in October. Lastly I will also be particiapting in an event part of British Art Week at Tate Britain on September 25th. Email me for more information on any of these events.

Chihuly Covered
Lookout out for knitted webs covering Dale Chihuly's chandelier in the Victoria and Albert Museum's grand dome. The installation will be part of Craft Rock!, a late night event at the V&A on Friday 26 March 2004, 18.30 - 22.00. Other installations with webs include Auntie Peggy Has Departed, The 26,000 and Wonderwebs.
